The school of adoptive parents (PDS) are courses of development of competencies for foster parents.

The task of the School is to help adoptive parents understand their feelings and intentions; to prepare mentally and practically for the reception of the child into the house, to give the system knowledge necessary for successful and reliable create a new family.

The school of adoptive parents is open to anyone who wants to adopt a child . to make guardianship over him . to create a foster family .

Here you will find detailed information about the adoption process, about the physical, mental and personal development of children left without care of parents, be ready to welcome the child into the family.

The project ’s School of adoptive parents” addressed to the parents, take children to the family, offers a new form and content of the product in the city of Cherepovets, allowing the candidates for foster parents to become aware of your choice and become a harmonious family, which can create the conditions for the socialization of children-orphans. Thus, the society will get a responsible, active, independent, socially healthy younger generation.

The actual parents need to be resolved by the project:

information on the School of adoptive parents,

in training,

psychological support,

accompanied by a legal, medical, psychological and pedagogical.

in creating self-help groups.

The activities of the School of adoptive parents is divided into two areas: preventive (work with prospective adoptive families) and rehabilitation (held adoptive, foster families and their children).

The problems of adoptive parents

Parents, who were not trained in School to “adoptive parenthood”, are experiencing difficulties in family relationships. From a psychological point of view, in such families often present a violation of parent-child relationships, codependent behavior, depression of any of the family members.

Parents often do not know their rights, can’t feel my boundaries, do not recognize their needs, not aware of their positive experience, are in a state of social helplessness. This prevents them from seeing their own and others ‘ boundaries, to respect, to think positively, consciously make a decision and take responsibility.

Rehabilitation foster (foster) families with minor children is carried out using innovative techniques, methods, technologies of modern social work, the result of which is a family with a constructive relationship in which all members of the family know their rights, understand their boundaries and take responsibility for your life, actions, and development situations. The children remain in the family!

In me, released a Government Resolution on mandatory training for prospective parents – training foster parents in the School. State educational institutions train specialists for this activity: training in parents. There is no single educational program.

From the five-year experience of training in the School of adoptive parents, we realized that knowledge of legal, medical, psychological and pedagogical are not essential for the conscious motivation of taking the child into the family.

The training of foster parents

How to achieve results in the preparation of parents that there are no returns children in state institutions?

In the classroom at School 90% of the candidates parents say about fear:

fear of genetic manifestations;

ignorance of the psychological characteristics of children-orphans.

Not all family members are willing to receive the child consent to the adoption of a child only because it really wants a wife (husband)).

Children return back to state institutions.

Families are on the verge of divorce.

The helplessness of potential parents is that are not able to cope with lots of fears

Unconsciously the decision on admission of the child in the family leads to a re-orphanhood.

Through the motives of the School came to parents, we understand that the family is not willing to accept the child and to create conditions for the development of the whole person.

The family is in chronic stress, psychological trauma. The reasons are different: none of their children for medical reasons, failed multiple pregnancies, the death of your own child, loneliness, a family on the verge of divorce.

Intuitively, we (PDS) in the classroom began to use mental images: childhood memories – returns to children’s personal experience of each candidate, and thus was rethinking, understanding of children, acceptance of ourselves.

The family receiving the child an orphan, first of all must be healthy, where each member of the family is harmonious, her personal inner reserves of creativity. Only highly spiritual, creative person can become an authority, a mentor for the child, to form moral values.

One thing that can give a child a family is the ability to love unconditionally accept the world in which he lives, to teach them to think holistically. And then there will be difficult children, and will be just a difficult situation that can be solved. No refunds will be foster children in state institutions.

The school consult with experienced psychologists, physicians, lawyers, experts in care.

The series of classes are held in the form of lectures, seminars, practical classes and workshops.

At the International salon of education, science and culture PDS received a Gold medal and a Diploma for Bioadequate technologies of teaching!
